7 Corners Liberty Store in Falls Church

2/12/24 I went to the Liberty station yesterday to fill up my SUV with premium gas. (Liberty, 3015 Patrick Henry Dr, Falls Church, VA 22044 - 703-532-8868). When I started the pump, the fuel was coming out ridiculously slow. I thought it would speed up but it never happened. Of course, I'm already invested in getting gas there but realize now I should have stopped and shopped elsewhere. I used the notch that holds the dispenser open and went to the window where "Wendy" told me she couldn't help me until I was finished pumping. The process to fill up my tank was 20 minutes - I wish I were exaggerating. Since it was taking forever and raining, I sat in my drivers seat to wait for the pump to finish. Looking out my car window, I see the number of gallons pumped start to go over my car’s capacity and I jumped out of my car and gas was POURING out of the side of my car. The strong smell of gas was everywhere. (I must note that this location is not far from a 7-11, laundromat, sidewalk, etc…..where people are smoking cigarettes.) In addition to this big dangerous mess, the charge to my American Express was way over what it should have been ($74.34) and when I went up to Wendy again (behind her glass), she was unfriendly, unhelpful and rude to me. She blamed the whole problem on me. I was so livid at the entire experience that I am making it my project to alert everyone to this issue. It goes without being said, that I will never go to this station again but I am also going to spread the word. (I have Gas Buddy, know how to use Yelp, Google Review, NextDoor, etc.) If you have any responsibility or connection to this station and its manager (Rosalie), I would so appreciate a reply.
