Family owned and operated Holtzman Propane has opened a new location in Warsaw, VA, providing propane sales, appliances, installations and service to homeowners and businesses in Richmond, Essex and Northumberland Counties and the surrounding areas.
“We saw a need for a family and community-focused propane provider that can also handle service requests,” said Holtzman Propane Owner Todd Holtzman. “We are excited to be part of the Warsaw community and provide both propane and service to our new neighbors.”
The company was founded in 1972 in Mount Jackson, VA by Todd’s father, Bill. Initially there were just a handful of employees, including one part-time hire: a local teenager working after school. Fast forward to 2019 and the company has divisions providing propane, gas, diesel, heating fuel and lubricants, along with other services. Oh, that local teenager is still there, now as the vice president of the business!
The Holtzman name is well known in the western part of Virginia, thanks to a culture of active involvement in the community. From supporting projects at Virginia Tech to sponsoring tractor shows and other local events, every Holtzman location strives to be a good neighbor.
